Technology use in schools is rapidly growing. Districts, in an effort to capitalize on student interest  and to create a vibrant,  21st century learning environment, are seeking new ways of incorporating technology into all classrooms. The sheer amount of technology, the various types, and variety of usages can at times be overwhelming.  This one day workshop will cover  the various technologies music teachers can use in their classrooms and ways to integrate them creatively into lessons. Areas covered will include computers/laptops, web 2.0 tools, cloud storage and sharing, iOS devices and Apps, portable recorders, and audio editing/sequencing software. Everyone attending the workshop is encouraged to bring their own technology and join in on the fun!
